PHOENIX FIRE
HOCKEY
Bringing Hockey Back to The Desert
Phoenix Fire Hockey is made up of members of the United Phoenix Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 493. What began as a shared passion for hockey among local firefighters has grown into a team built around community, camaraderie, and giving back.
Many of our players grew up playing hockey right here in Arizona and experienced firsthand the growth of the game in the desert. Today, we continue that passion by bringing firefighters together through the sport we love while creating opportunities to support fellow first responders, local charities, and the community around us.
Our team competes in first responder tournaments and charity events while working to build traditions that bring people together both on and off the ice. Through hockey, we aim to support organizations that help first responders and their families, strengthen connections within our community, and help grow excitement for the game throughout Arizona.
Charity in Every Goal
As our organization continues to grow, so will our support for the local community and the next generation of hockey players in Arizona.
